Elaine Seymour Mediator

Elaine C. Seymour, is an experienced civil trial attorney that has been practicing in civil litigation since 1995.  Elaine received a B.A cum laude, from the University of Florida in 1992 and a J.D. cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1995.  She began her legal career in Florida, practicing in both Federal and State Courts throughout the state. Elaine obtained her license to practice law in Georgia in 2016. Over time, she has participated in countless mediations, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.  In 2007, she decided to become a mediator herself and obtained her first certification as a mediator in the State of Florida.

Elaine has extensive experience representing clients in all areas of civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, including

  • Employment discrimination
  • Medical/legal malpractice
  • Nursing home
  • Product liability
  • Condominium litigation
  • Fire loss
  • All types of personal injury law (e.g. slip/trip and falls, car accidents, premises liability and catastrophic cases involving multiple parties, etc.) 

In 2014, Elaine took a sabbatical from law, moving to South Korea where her husband’s employment took them.  While there, she became very active in the American Woman’s Club of Korea and served as its President for the 2014 program year. 

In 2015, Elaine returned to the United States along with her family and relocated to the Atlanta, Georgia area.  Elaine sat for the Georgia bar exam and obtained her license to practice law in Georgia in 2016.  She continued to practice in civil litigation in Georgia and maintains her Florida license to assist her clients with cases in both states. Throughout her career, Elaine has successfully tried cases in both Federal and State courts in Florida and in Georgia.

In 2021, Elaine became a Registered Neutral in the State of Georgia.  As a mediator, Elaine has successfully helped parties resolve their disputes to avoid the uncertainty of trial and to gain peace of mind.
